Since becoming a mom...

  •  I take one too many pictures that may seem the same to other people, but I can tell the difference between her faces.
  • I seem to not be able to shower most days until after two, unless I am REALLY organized...and that's just exhausting.
  • Speaking of exhausted, I get weird thoughts in my head such as "if only she'd sleep all night till 6 I'd be satisfied." Since when did getting up at 6 sound so appealing?
  • I find having a daughter is a good excuse to wear matching outfits.

  • Not only does it take me all morning to shower, but I find I brush my teeth later in the day. Gross, I know. What is even more gross than that is one night as I was brushing my teeth before bed, I realized I haven't even brushed my teeth at all that day. What the heck? That is not this girl.
  • I cry at the drop of a hat. I cry at the TV, I cry when Sam has to run an errand, I cry during movies, I cry sometimes when I look at my little girl. I've turned into a big ball of soggy tears.
  • I have nap time every day. For a few hours. (If I don't, I'll cry)
  • I get overly excited to get out of the house. Once Sam gets home, all I want to do is go someplace, even if it is Walmart.
  • During one late night feeding, I discovered the joy of Wizards of Waverly Place. And now that is mine and Abby's show we watch together.
  • I always have spit up on me, and smell like I do too.
  • I love looking at Abby and seeing what parts she has of me and of her daddy.
  • I didn't realize how much my love has expanded far more than I ever thought it could for one precious little girl and a very wonderful husband.

  3. I don't know what it is about having a baby and crying...but I think it's a pretty common thing for mommy's :). I cry over the silliest things now too! She is truly adorable and I just love her! As well as her mommy too :)
