The Eighth Month

When I first became pregnant, I swore I wouldn't be the type of mom that only blogged/tweeted/facebooked about their kid. And I think I have lived up to that.

The only good thing about having a sick baby is she is extra cuddly. Other than that, babies shouldn't be allowed to be sick.

I wish we could keep Abby up till 10:30 every night if it meant she wouldn't wake up til 8:30!

Who has two thumbs and gets to be with Abby all day now? This girl.
Uh oh...Abby has her mama's temper.
I love the sounds of Abby playing in the next room. .
Abby loves to poop when we're trying to get out the door. (of course, I make time to tweet this.) .

Ok So perhaps I do talk about Abby. A lot. But she is my favorite daughter. So...double jeopardy. And she is 8 months now. She spent her 8th month day, sick. I am pretty sure it's teeth, but she wasn't a very happy baby for a few days. She has more then made up for it now though.

Not too terribly much has changed this month. She still won't roll, but she is perfecting the scooting (still only backwards) and she can be on her bum and scoot too. She loves to watch Sesame Street for a while so that mommy can spend a little bit of time cleaning, and she loves to come to my morning workout classes with me and bounce to the music and play with her cousins when they are there. And she LOVES that I am home all day with her!

She loves to smile and laugh.
But she also has her mommy's temper (we're in trouble with that one) and gets super mad at us when we take stuff away from her she shouldn't have. 


Phones, keys, remotes; if it isn't one of her toys, she prefers it. And when she does see something she shouldn't have, she gets the most concentrated/determined look and tries her very hardest to do anything she can to get it. Little stinker. But boy, do we love her.

    I like how after you gave her the keys she immediately started cooing happily :) Oh she's a sweet funny little girl. I for one am glad that she's dramatic because it provides entertainment for me and, well, I won't have to deal with it if it ever becomes a problem :) Happy Eight Months Abby!

    oh my goodness my little princess just keeps getting prettier and prettier- like her mama. im so glad you got a pic of the teeth too!!

    She is by far the cutest 8 month old niece I have! I just love her to pieces, and I think that everytime I see her beautiful face :). I feel kinda lucky having so many beautiful nieces...we all must have awesome genes or something. Happy 8 months Abby! And for the record...I think she is the happiest baby I've ever been around. I think you're lying when you say otherwise... :)
