I have recently started to like Soccer. I'm not into sports at all, so this is saying something. We went to our first Real game back in March or April I think...anyway it was the first time in a while that I had gone to a sporting event, and actually watched the game. So Friday night we got some tickets and went with our friends Mike and Amanda. It was a lot of fun, even though we tied 0-0, and the hot dogs were gross, it was still so much fun. Then on Saturday, we watched the USA vs. Ghana game, and once again, I was actually watching it, cheering for the team, and was actually upset when we didn't win, which again is saying something for me. I usually do anything BUT watch sports, especially on TV.
Saturday was an awesome day. We woke up early and went to the Temple with our ward (even though only 4 of us showed up) to do sealings. After, that is when we watched the game. Then we headed up to Bountiful for Sam's work party, which had great dutch oven food, and his boss serenaded us with his awesome guitar/singing skills. It was great. I know if Sam keeps practicing and pushing himself, he can get just as good too! After the party, we headed to Taylorsville for the yearly Taylorsville Dayzz. We walked around for a bit, visiting with some and my sister's family. They had an ok Beatles Tribute band playing, which I liked, because I'm always up for Beatles songs, even though there is nothing like the original Beatles. After walking about for a while, we found a great spot for my favorite summer event ever...FIREWORKS!!My favorite part of Summer is the 4th of July, and with those come fireworks. They are exciting, fun, romantic....just great!! And last nights were AWESOME!!
After the fireworks, we hung our with Sam's brother Brigham and his wife and their friends Scott and Britany for a bit so we didn't have to sit in traffic for an hour. It was just a lot of fun. I love weekends!!

Lately...
So not too much new has happened to our little Tappana family. We lost our camera in Vegas when we went the beginning of May, so that is just the worst. For our anniversary, we got some disposable camera's. They were fun to use, and when we would ask other people to take our picture, they always temporarily forgot how to use one. It was funny. Until we get those pictures developed however, I will not have pictures to post. I'm anxious to figure out how our pictures come out. And hopefully we get a new camera soon. It is my Birthday in a few weeks. Perhaps I'll get one then...hint...cough.....hint.
It is now my favorite time of summer. June and July are my favorite months! I love BBQ's, Fireworks, Bee's games, early morning breakfasts in the mountains. Taylorsville Dayzz is soon approaching, my birthday, the 4th of July, my vacation with my family, the 24th of July, camping trips....I love them all!!
I wish I could play all summer long and not have to worry about responsibility, but alas, life goes on. I am just working right now, so it could be worse, but my job can be a bit stressful. But I am enjoying just going to work and not having school. I get to clean my place well, do laundry, cook; things I for the most part enjoy....a little. I love the feeling of being domestic, but sometimes it's not so fun. I am also concentrating on becoming more fit. I went for a great jog this morning, and feel like I can keep running at a better pace and for longer, so that was great. I'm also taking a dance class through the month of June that is so much fun!
Sam is doing great at his job. He is FINALLY done with training, and is enjoying being on the Spanish speaking team, which comes with a raise! Score! He is also taking 2 classes this summer at LDSBC, which is great for him to do, but he is there kinda late and I'd like to do more fun summer in the city activities, which there are a lot going on. But he likes being busy with school.
Other than that, life is great. We absolutely LOVE our ward, we love living downtown, and we love being in our second year of marriage. Life is pretty much fantastic!!
That pretty much sums up what has been going on in our lives. Hopefully pictures will be coming sooner than later!!
